My name is Mark from the Philippines, and I purchased the Coalax Lancer 300 from Alpha Lifestyle, the official distributor of Coalax in the Philippines.

When I first came across this backpack a few months ago, I was genuinely impressed. It’s rare to see a company create such a highly modular, versatile backpack packed with thoughtful features. This immediately caught my interest, and I spent a significant amount of time researching it. Unfortunately, at that time, it was not yet available in the Philippines.

Then in November 2025, it finally became available. I was especially pleased to find that my DJI Air 3S fits well in the drone compartment, even though I hadn’t seen any reviews featuring the Air 3S—most only showed smaller aircraft.

Owning this backpack feels like a dream come true, particularly here in the Philippines where rainy weather is common. I’m very much looking forward to seeing more accessories from Coalax in the future.

I don’t say this lightly — this backpack changed how I work.

The Coalax Lancer 300 Backpack is hands-down the most capable gear bag I’ve ever used.

I’m running two full backpacks worth of camera gear + a drone case, and somehow it all fits inside ONE Lancer 300 — with room to spare.

I purchased the Lancer300 Adventure Kit – Ultimate Modular Backpack with an additional Lancer 100 battery for airplane travel. It has followed me on many Midwest and Central American pure nature field recording excursions. This bag was the highlight of my 2025 purchases. The modular design is great for in the field customization on the go. The exoskeleton keeps the pack balanced at all times. The magic arms are a game changer for documenting my hikes with a 360 camera and is great for a traveling stereo microphone pair rig. The storage capacity meets all of my needs. The zippers are of very high quality and the hot swapable battery port is very utilitarian. This isn't just a backpack. Its an assistant on my back. It is clear that it was designed by photographers and adventurist for photographers/adventurist. I look forward to taking it on my Asia and Yosemite field recording tour in 2026. This bag changed my work flow so much that I am a fan for life. The look forward to owning the electric hand warm accessory one day.

Great bag and even better support

I have had my bag for a bit now and I can’t tell you how much I love it, to keep this review short the lancer 300 ,which is the one I purchased, is amazing the down side to this bag is the plastic cinch screw for the magic arm. This screw has broken on me twice now, although I won’t throw out that it could have been my fault for over tightening but never the less I reached out for a replacement and the coalax team sent me 3 new ones for free and without question. They are an awesome company with amazing products!
