Make the Lancer 300 Your Own — Cool DIY Upgrades from Our Community
The Lancer 300 was built to adapt, and our community has truly embraced that spirit. From simple tweaks to custom upgrades, users around the world are finding creative ways to make the pack suit their needs. These real-life mods show how the Lancer can be more than just a backpack — it can be whatever you make of it.

@arxwjh’s DIY Cup Holder
Both sides of the Lancer 300 can hold Magic Arms, but not everyone uses both sides at once.
@arxwjh got creative and used the side without a Magic Arm to 3D print a cup holder right onto the frame. Now he can grab his water way faster when he’s out and about. This just shows how open and fun the exoskeleton design is — you don’t even need official accessories to make it work for you.

Raised Footpads for Rough Trails
Also from @arxwjh, these footpads are perfect if you’re often on rocky or bumpy paths. He screwed them right onto the bottom of the exoskeleton (not just clamped to the fabric).
The footpads have a solid hard part, a replaceable soft TPU grip part, and screws to hold it all together. It keeps the bag off the ground, adds grip so it won’t slide, and makes it last longer — all without messing with the original design.

From Backer's Design to Our Waterproof Cover
Joseph is one of our early users. He designed a simple cover for the detachable power module to keep dust and moisture out.
His idea fits perfectly with an accessory we’re working on now. It’s a great example of how real users notice the small stuff. Heads up: Coalax’s own waterproof cover is coming soon — stay tuned.
