The assistant that always has my back in a pack!

I purchased the Lancer300 Adventure Kit – Ultimate Modular Backpack with an additional Lancer 100 battery for airplane travel. It has followed me on many Midwest and Central American pure nature field recording excursions. This bag was the highlight of my 2025 purchases. The modular design is great for in the field customization on the go. The exoskeleton keeps the pack balanced at all times. The magic arms are a game changer for documenting my hikes with a 360 camera and is great for a traveling stereo microphone pair rig. The storage capacity meets all of my needs. The zippers are of very high quality and the hot swapable battery port is very utilitarian. This isn't just a backpack. Its an assistant on my back. It is clear that it was designed by photographers and adventurist for photographers/adventurist. I look forward to taking it on my Asia and Yosemite field recording tour in 2026. This bag changed my work flow so much that I am a fan for life. The look forward to owning the electric hand warm accessory one day.

I use the Coalax Lancer 300 on a DAILY basis. This is whether it be interviews, filming skits, filming around heavy equipment, leaving it in dirt pits, filming next to stone being cut (cutting dust), and much more. This bag still functions. It’s got some scratches on it obviously, but it makes my job EASY because I’m all over the place all the time. Never run out of battery on my drone, camera, gimbal, extended packs, etc. It helps make me look GOOD people always ask about it. This backpack is the backbone to my day.

Overall is the bag expensive yes, but so is your lense, so is you camera body, so is your gimbal. It is an investment that I guarantee you will never make again. The only thing I wish about this bag is that it can SOMETIMES handle power tool, but I’m a VERY specific case as I work with contractors.

If anyone would like pictures of what the bag looks like after a few months of rough handling let me know or email me back Coalax and I’ll add it to my review I could do it while writing this.

Everything charged up, and could be used to run or charge my gear. It's comfortable to wear. And the "selfy sticks" are really modular, allowing me to switch out IR Spotlights, Shotgun or Parabolic microphones, lidar, parametric phased array speakers, or other electronics I haven't even considered.
